Winners!!: Safe Steps Celebrates Award Win at HTN Health Tech News Awards for Best Use of Digital in Social Care

We are beyond excited to announce that Safe Steps, in partnership with NHS Greater Manchester’s Bury Integrated Delivery Collaborative and Health Innovation Manchester, has been recognized with the prestigious Best Use of Digital for Social Care award at the HTN - Health Tech News Awards!

In collaboration with the Bury Integrated Delivery Collaborative, primary care teams, care homes, the local authority, and Health Innovation Manchester , we launched a groundbreaking digital initiative in 2023 aimed at enhancing early intervention for deterioration and falls prevention in Bury care homes. By implementing the digital deterioration tracker (RESTORE2 and RESTORE2 Mini) alongside our multifactorial falls prevention tool, the project saw outstanding results—a 57% reduction in ambulance callouts across 37 care homes in Greater Manchester between January and March 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.

This achievement highlights our unwavering commitment to enhancing patient care through innovative digital solutions that make a real difference.
